Buckeye Health Alliance Inc. and the nonprofit Sedera Medical Cost Sharing Community plan, provide an affordable, innovative, alternative to traditional health plans. Health insurance with high deductibles, large premium increases yearly and has become unaffordable for many organizations including nonprofits. The nonprofit community has the same needs as “for profit groups” in delivering tangible benefits to their employees, and the high cost is often a deterrent.

Health insurance plans generally require a minimum employer/plan sponsor contribution of 50%. Sedera has no minimum contribution requirement for employers, and is generally 30-50% less, freeing up dollars to help meet the nonprofit’s needs and mission statement. Sedera has plans for nonprofits, associations, employers, and individuals. Full and part time employees, as well as1099 workers may participate.

Buckeye Health Alliance Inc. has a wide array of other health and insurance products and services including: dental, vision, disability, mental health, and life.

Bill Willis is President of Buckeye Health Alliance Inc., and a Certified Affiliate Partner of Sedera Inc., and has worked in employee benefits for 30 years. Bill has served as President of the Summit County American Cancer Society board, (3 years) and continues to serve on the advisory board. He is also past President of his local Athletic Sports Booster Club. Bill has co- chaired three successful American Cancer Society Cattle Baron’s Ball galas, and numerous charity golf outings.
